The Edge of Love

Thanks to Cafe de Paris we have a new The Edge of Love Still, with Cillian Murphy and Keira. I think it's a beautiful picture, and from the pictures I saw of the place it's a really nice place too.
This is what the location manager said: "We filmed for two days in the Café de Paris and it worked perfectly : Not only did the Café de Paris perfectly fit the brief as scripted ('Café de Paris', indeed !) but we were also supported with immense professionalism and good humor in the necessary technical and logistical elements."

Atonement star and boyfriend agree 3-month separation

Keira Knightley's relationship with actor Rupert Friend is said to be in trouble after two and a half years together.

The Atonement star, 22 - who failed to win an Oscar for her role - and Rupert, 26, are said to have rowed after the awards.

Maintaining two showbiz careers and finding time for each other has not been easy for them.

'They had just agreed to go travelling for 3 months non-stop together when he accepted another film,' an insider tells The Daily Star.

'So instead, they're having a 3-month break.'

A friend of mine showed me that... it comes from a gossip magazine so it may not be true. Let's just hope it is gossip for Keira's sake. If she leaves Rupert she'll loose two fans, two important fans who will become Rupert's fans. Rupert is the cutest thing ever... she CANNOT break up with him. Poor darling! He needs money for traveling, after having spent a lot of it in taking Keira to Iceland for Valentine's!

Keira tunes up to sing for Dylan

Keira Knightley snuck into a recording studio to lay down the tracks she sings in a new movie and the result is an album featuring the young Oscar-nominated star.

Keira stars with Sienna Miller (almost unrecognisable), Matthew Rhys and Cillian Murphy in John Maybury's film The Edge Of Love. It's about two women in Dylan Thomas's life - his childhood friend Vera Phillips and his wife Caitlin MacNamara - and their Bohemian romping during World War II.

The movie, which was written by Keira's mum Sharman Macdonald, opens with Keira, who plays Vera, singing Blue Tahitian Moon to people sheltering in an Underground station during the Blitz.

When I visited the set last year, Keira admitted to me she wasn't sure she could carry a tune. "I can't really sing," she said. "I had to have a few lessons, but once I started doing it, a sound emerged that wasn't too disagreeable!"

Well, she's always downplaying her talent - I suspect because of those who, for some reason I can't fathom, sneer at her. She should start believing in herself and get used to the fact that she's emerging as a damn good actress. And her singing, which has a mournful edge to it, is far from "disagreeable".

The album, which is being released later this year on Universal's Classics and Jazz label, also has Keira singing two other numbers featured in the movie: Irving Berlin's Maybe It's Because I Love You Too Much and Drifting And Dreaming.

The soundtrack also has Suggs from Madness crooning Hang Out The Stars In Indiana and numbers written by Maybury and Angelo Badalamenti, sung by Siouxsie Sioux, Beth Rowley and Patrick Wolf.

I saw a completed version of The Edge Of Love and, as I revealed in previous columns, Keira and Sienna (who portrays Caitlin) give sublime performances that delve deeper when Maybury moves the story from London to windswept Wales.

There, the two women essentially co-habit with the poet. Indeed, all four leads are brilliant when the story darkens in Wales.

I'm sure it's going to be a contender at Cannes and other film festivals this year.

Both movie and album will probably come out in the summer.

That's a Daily Mail article, I so long to watch this movie!

Colourful Keira

She was really young when this pictures came out, and she already looked flawless. She's untouchable.

Old Photoshoot

I decided I'm going to start uploading my favourite old Keira stuff. I love this old photoshoot, it's one of my favourites. I hope you enjoy it.

POTC: Dead Man's Chest Photocall

I was going through some Keira pictures and realized I love how she looks in these ones, and decided to post them. I think they would make a wonderful couple, but I love Rupert anyway.
